What can I do if the child is not learning!

Have you come across children who seem to be behind their peers academically? When observed carefully you would notice that some of these children not only lag behind academically but, could also have problem with making friends, articulating their thoughts and taking part in physical activities. This module is for early years educators in mainstream schools who are interested in helping children learn with special learning needs.The module provides an introduction to early identification and intervention among children with developmental delays . It will provide insights into how being alert about developmental milestones can help parents and teachers to take appropriate action to expedite learning. You will also become familiar with different areas of child development and the kinds of early interventions that can be done with a child who is reaching milestones slowly. You will learn about planning for children with special needs and communication with parents.
